As follows is a non-inclusive list of Software Applications are utilized
within the Integrated Development Environment in the process of the design and
development of all web sites and/or web applications.
- Microsoft Expression Suite, including Expression Blend, Expression Web,
Expression Design.

Programmatic Technologies Supported
As follows is a listing of the programmatic technologies supported by Web
Design by MikeStratton.net, with a synopsis or our relevant experience in such programmatic language.
- HTML/XHTML - Development of static html that meet standards as defined
by www.w3.org, and or standards set in place
by the Web Accessibility Initiative, and/or Section 508. Development of HTML
pages for dynamic web applications.
- Cascading Style Sheets - Use of up to date standards in the development
of table-free html pages, and use of CSS in regards to the design of web
applications, and/or the UI of portions of applications.
- JavaScript - Development of simple scripts, or the customizing of design
of open source scripts such as jQuery, JSON, and other open source
solutions.
- .PHP - Customization, debugging, and resolving .php code relevant to
open source solutions such as Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress, etc.
- Visual Basic - Debugging via Visual Studio, utilizing MSDN and other
resources to find errors in existing code, and use of pre-existing open
source solutions such as asp.net starter kits.
- Silverlight - Design & Development of simple animations with use of
Expression Blend, and use of existing open source Silverlight Applications.
- XAML - Utilizing simple scripts to make changes in the development of
Silverlight Web Applications.
- ASP.net - Utilizing open source applications and customizing the design
interface of such open source applications.
- MySQL - Researching and resolving errors relevant to open source
applications, migration, backup & restoration, of such applications.
- Microsoft SQL - Use of online resources, books, and groups to get a base
understanding of SQL, including SQL tutorials and hands on training.
- XML - Use of XML as a web service, and or utilizing XML to tie in
elements such as flash to text, asp.net with use of XML rather then
database, utilzing XML for sitemaps, XML for relevant open source web
applications.
- Internet Protocols and Standards - Relevant Certifications within
Microsoft, Network, and Server technologies.
